Ross Manning: Double Refraction - Lismore regional Gallery 24 April - 29 May
Ross Manning is exhibiting at Lismore Regional Gallery 24 April to 29 may. Opens Friday 23 April, 5:30 for 6pm. He looks beyond the original function of his electronic materials (such as screens and projectors) to produce mesmerising artworks made from refracted light. On Saturday April 24 from 6-7:30pm, he will give a live performance with sound-making machines, some acoustic, some electronic, some unclassified. Lights, gizmos, gadgets.
Wireless Imagination: Douglas Kahn in Brisbane
Ross Manning is performing as part of Wireless Imagination at State Library of Queensland, on November 7-8. Wireless Imagination is a 2 day festival celebrating the work of American sound theorist Douglas Kahn.
