Jon Cattapan is the 2013 winner of the Art Gallery of New South Wales Bulgari Art Award, for his work Imagine a Raft (Hard Rubbish 4+5) 2012.
Jon Cattapan, Robert Hunter, and Rosslynd Piggott will be shown in Vibrant Matter, an exhibition at the TarraWarra Museum of Art, running 20 April - 16 June 2013.

A documentary on the art of Jon Cattapan will screen on the ABC in late August. This documentary follows Cattapan's journey to Timor Leste and then back to his studio, in an outer suburb of Melbourne, where he creates a series of works for the Australian War Memorial, based on his unique experiences as a war artist.
