A number of artists are featured in Negotiating this world: Contemporary Australian Art at the National Gallery of Victoria. The exhibition runs 28 September 2012 - 25 February 2013.

A documentary on the art of Jon Cattapan will screen on the ABC in late August. This documentary follows Cattapan's journey to Timor Leste and then back to his studio, in an outer suburb of Melbourne, where he creates a series of works for the Australian War Memorial, based on his unique experiences as a war artist. ARTSCAPE - Artists at Work: Jon Cattapan, ABC 1 Tuesday 25 August 2009 10 pm, repeated on ABC 2 Sunday 30 August 2009 7pm.
